Hello, my name is Mark Rivera and I’m a college student with an Associate in Science Illustration degree and an Associate in Arts Emphasis in Arts and Humanities degree. I've decided that I want to begin working in the animation industry by studying animation and finding helpful student resources. An internship or entry program in the future would help me gain experience when working in collaboration with others or independently. I know I can advance further into my life goal of having an art career in an animation studio if I take the chance to apply for helpful opportunities as I learn from my current education. I enjoy making illustrations and learning about animation. My favorite art subjects are related to storytelling because of my interest in animated stories. These subjects are concept art, character design, and world-building with background art. The knowledge that came from practicing using traditional mediums and digital tools in previous projects is presented in my art. I’ve decided to continue finding different art resources and gain knowledge about working in the creative industry.
